Special Education Records To Be Destroyed

The Lovejoy ISD Special Education Department will destroy records from the 2015-2016 school year for students who moved, graduated, and/or exited the program during that year. According to TEA Guidelines, the district must keep records for seven years. Students or Legal Guardians who would like to have a copy of their student’s records should contact Special Education at 469.742.8061 by September 22, 2023.

On November 30th and December 1st, 2023, March 21st and 22nd, 2024, May 30th and 31st, 2024 and August 1st and 2nd, 2024, Lovejoy ISD will be administering examinations for acceleration.  Please contact Stephani Kranz at 469-742-8033 for procedural questions and deadline requirements.  You may also contact the school counselors.
