The Lovejoy ISD Athletic Department is sad to announce that the start of the Varsity and JV Girls Basketball season has been delayed for the next few weeks for health and safety reasons.
In keeping with LISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we have notified families within the program of a positive COVID-19 case. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of the individual or details about them.
To provide the safest environment for our athletes, we will continue to monitor our students and will return safety once quarantine is completed.
