The NAMM Foundation recognizes school districts that are among the Best Communities in the nation for music education. This award program recognizes and celebrates the outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have demonstrated a high commitment music education as part of a well-rounded learning environment.
We would also like to extend a very special "thank you" to Ms. Marty Ball, Fine Arts Specialist and Director of Bands, for leading the extensive application process. To qualify for the Best Communities designation, funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program and community music-making programs are all considered.
