Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce the promotion of Jacob Hunter to Assistant Principal of Willow Springs Middle School.
Mr. Hunter has been an integral part of the Willow Springs community since 2016, where he has served in numerous leadership roles, including GT Algebra 1 Teacher, Math Team Lead, MathCounts Coach, and AMC 8 Campus Coordinator. With a strong instructional focus and a commitment to cultivating a collaborative learning environment, Hunter has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to student achievement and campus success.
Prior to joining Lovejoy ISD, Hunter taught at Richardson High School and Richland Elementary, where he held positions such as Algebra II lead teacher, ESL Geometry and Algebra II instructor, and Robotics Team Coordinator. He has also contributed to curriculum development at both the elementary and secondary levels.
Hunter holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from Abilene Christian University. A lifelong learner, he has participated in numerous professional development opportunities, including Solution Tree’s Professional Learning Communities at Work Institute and the TCEA Annual Technology Conference.
