AP School Honor Roll

Lovejoy ISD is proud to share that Lovejoy High School has been named to the Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) School Honor Roll, earning Platinum distinction. This national recognition reflects the dedication of Lovejoy High School students, teachers, and campus leaders to a strong culture of academic rigor and excellence.

Lovejoy High School Class of 2025 exceeded AP School Honor Roll criteria:
85% of graduates took at least 1 AP exam
67% of students earned a score of 3 or higher
44% took 5+ AP exams, including one in 9th or 10th grade

Lovejoy High School’s AP® courses enable students to pursue college-level studies – with the opportunity to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both – while still in high school. AP® courses challenge students to think critically, construct solid arguments, and see many sides of an topic, skills that prepare them for college and beyond. Additionally, taking AP® courses may demonstrate to college admissions officers that students have sought the most challenging curriculum available to them.
