Allen, Texas – February 24, 2026 – Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Chris Mueller as Senior Director of Technology.
Mr. Chris Mueller joins Lovejoy from Prosper ISD, where he currently serves as Director of Technology Support Services, overseeing the administration of a large support services team of 38 technicians, analysts, specialists, team leaders, and coordinators. In this role, he oversees end-user support and equipment maintenance for more than 30 campuses and over 36,000 users.
During his 11 years in education, Mueller has also served as Director of Technology at Melissa ISD and as a CTE teacher at Melissa High School. His combined experience as both a classroom teacher and administrator uniquely qualifies him to thoughtfully balance classroom, campus, and districtwide technology needs and goals.
Mr. Mueller has earned both a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Western Governors University (WGU). He is a Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL), and an active member of Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), Texas Education Technology Leaders (TETL), and Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA). Additionally, Mr. Mueller currently serves on the Membership & Engagement committee for Texas Education Technology Leaders (TETL).
For the past 11 years, Mr. Mueller has been married to Ms. Shayna Mueller, a former Melissa ISD educator. Together, they have two daughters, Frances (14) and Murphy (8).
