Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Philip Evans as Chief Student Services Officer.
Mr. Evans joins Lovejoy ISD from Frisco ISD where he has most recently served as Lead Secondary Managing Director, supervising secondary campus principals, leading district initiatives, and establishing internal programs and processes. Additionally, he has collaborated closely with Student Services teams to implement campus health and safety protocols, student discipline, behavior management, and crisis response.
A veteran educator with more than 30 years in public education, Mr. Evans has dedicated his career to serving students, teachers, and school communities. He brings extensive experience in both district and campus leadership, having served as a managing director, principal, assistant principal, teacher and coach. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated strong commitment to student-centered leadership.
“Mr. Evans is a servant-leader whose extensive experience and well-rounded background reflect a deep commitment to supporting both students and staff,” said Superintendent Kordel. “He has worked closely with leadership teams throughout his career and understands the vital role Student Services plays in fostering positive campus cultures, strengthening student engagement, and supporting effective school operations. I am honored to welcome Mr. Evans to the Lovejoy community, and I am confident his knowledge, leadership, and experience will further strengthen and advance Lovejoy’s tradition of excellence.”
Holding a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas and Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Baylor University, Mr. Evans is passionate about continuous growth, leadership development and fostering positive, supportive school climates.
Mr. Evans has been married to his wife, Beth, for 32 years, who is a teacher in Frisco ISD. Together they share three grown children and are excited to welcome their first grandchild this summer.
