Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Meghan Powers as Assistant Principal of Hart Elementary.

Joining Lovejoy ISD from Riddle Elementary in Frisco, Ms. Meghan Powers, an experienced educator bringing 16 years of hands-on experience as an instructional coach, language acquisition specialist, curriculum writer, team leader, and elementary teacher.

Ms. Powers, a former campus elementary teacher of the year, is known for her relationship-centered leadership style and passion for supporting students, developing educators, and strengthening school communities. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of North Texas.

Outside of school, Ms. Powers enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and two sons, Tucker (15) and Waylon (13).
