Allen, Texas – February 23, 2026 – Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Casey Littlefield as Director of Safety and Security.
Mr. Littlefield rejoins Lovejoy ISD following a brief tenure in the private sector and will resume leadership of the District’s Safety and Security Department. He previously served as Director of Safety and Security from July 2022 to January 2026 and has been a dedicated School Marshal since 2018. During his time with Lovejoy ISD, Mr. Littlefield played a pivotal role in shaping the District’s proactive safety culture and strengthening the foundation of the Lovejoy ISD School Marshal program. His leadership and unwavering commitment to protecting students, staff, and the broader school community have been instrumental in building safe and secure learning environments across the district.
Prior to his service in Lovejoy ISD, Mr. Littlefield gained extensive law enforcement experience serving as a Patrol Officer with the Dallas Police Department and as Operations Commander/Patrol Sergeant with the Hickory Creek Police Department. In addition, he has held leadership roles in safety, security, operations, and investigations within the private sector, including positions with Westlake Hardware and The Home Depot.
Mr. Littlefield earned a Bachelor of Science in Security Management from Bellevue University. Additionally, he holds numerous safety certifications including, Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM), Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events, Basic Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events ( CRASE) Instructor, and is a Stop the Bleed instructor. In 2025 Mr. Littlefield was awarded the prestigious 2025 Civilian of the Year award by the Lucas Fire Department. During his time at the Dallas Police Academy, he distinguished himself as a Top 3 Overall Performer and Top 2 Academic Performer. In 2006 he was a Top Gun Shoot-Out Qualifier for expert marksmanship.
Littlefield has been married to Coach Carly Littlefield, Assistant Director of Athletics, for 25 years, and is the father to Lovejoy ISD Class of 2024 alumna, Kailey Littlefield.
