⚾️A Big Week for Lovejoy Baseball — Past and Present ⚾️

The road to Omaha is a family affair for two Lovejoy alumni.

Brothers Kyle Branch (Oklahoma) and Kolby Branch (Georgia) are both headed to the College World Series, where they'll compete on college baseball's biggest stage, and potentially against one another.

For the Branch family, it's an incredible moment. For Lovejoy Baseball, it's another reminder of the talent and tradition that continue to thrive long after our student-athletes leave Leopard Nation.

Their College World Series appearance comes just days after the Lovejoy Leopards captured the 2026 UIL 5A Division II State Championship, making it an unforgettable week for Lovejoy Baseball, past and present.

Adding one more layer to the story, Kyle and Kolby's younger brother, Carson, was a member of this year's state championship Leopard team.

From Dell Diamond to Omaha, Leopard Nation is making its mark.

Congratulations to Kyle and Kolby and the entire Lovejoy Baseball family on an incredible season. ❤️🖤

🎣 Leopard Fishing Delivers at the 2026 THSBA State Championship 🎣

Leopard Fishing proudly represented Lovejoy ISD at the Texas High School Bass Association State Championship on Lake Texoma, competing against 185 boats from 110 high schools across Texas. After qualifying among the top teams in the North/West/Metro Region, Lovejoy sent four teams to the state tournament.

Despite challenging conditions, three of Lovejoy’s four teams brought fish to the scales, demonstrating adaptability, determination, and resilience throughout the two-day competition.

A special congratulations goes to Owen Quinland and Nick Rowe, who finished 14th in the State of Texas with a two-day total of 22.85 pounds. After sitting in 21st place following Day 1, the duo steadily climbed the leaderboard to earn scholarship money and sponsor awards. Their outstanding season also earned them a spot in the elite THSBA Angler of the Year Tournament on Lake Tyler later this month.

Congratulations to all eight Leopard anglers who qualified for and competed at the state level. Thank you for representing Lovejoy with excellence, sportsmanship, and perseverance. #LovejoyLeopards #LeopardFishing #THSBAStateChampionship
