Today, we remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and we honor the bravery and sacrifice of the heroes who served, saved, and rendered aid. On this day of remembrance, Lovejoy ISD extends our deepest gratitude to all First Responders who work tirelessly to protect and serve our communities each day.

This morning, Lovejoy High School, in partnership with the Lovejoy Safety and Security Department, proudly hosted the Second Annual First Responders’ Breakfast. The event was filled with heartfelt appreciation for the men and women who selflessly serve and protect our students, educators, and community each day.
We extend a special thank you to our partners in the City of Lucas, the Town of Fairview, and the City of Allen for helping make this event possible. We were honored to welcome city leadership, the Lucas and Fairview Fire Departments, law enforcement representatives from Fairview, Allen, and Collin County, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the FBI, and the Vice President of Security for the Dallas Mavericks.

🎭✨ The Lovejoy Theatre Department hosted its first Improv Night on Thursday, Sept. 4, in the LHS Black Box!
With 21 student performers taking the stage, the night was filled with quick thinking, creativity, and plenty of laughs. Inspired by shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway?, every scene was completely unscripted and driven by audience suggestions—leading to unexpected twists, fast-paced fun, and endless entertainment.
Families, friends, and classmates had a blast supporting our talented theatre students in this one-night-only event! ❤️🖤
