Leopard Reminder: No School for Lovejoy students and campuses will be closed from August 29th - September 2nd for for an extended Labor day weekend. Lovejoy Staff have Teacher Planning on Friday, August 29th and Professional Development on Tuesday, September 2nd. We look forward to seeing our Leopards return on Wednesday, September 3rd.

During Learning in Lovejoy, our 6–12 Math teachers explored Peter Liljedahl’s Building Thinking Classrooms—a research-based approach that helps students think independently and collaboratively.
With support from the TEA Strong Foundations grant, each teacher received five vertical whiteboards to spark active problem-solving and visible thinking. Now, classrooms are buzzing with students on their feet, working together, and making real-world connections.
In Lovejoy ISD, thinking isn’t just encouraged—it’s expected. ❤️🖤
