Lovejoy Cross Country is State Bound!
An incredible weekend for Lovejoy Cross Country as both our Lady Leopards and Leopard Boys punched their tickets to the UIL State Championship in Round Rock on Friday, October 31st!
For the 6th consecutive year, the Lady Leopards captured the Region II-5A Championship, while the Boys Team finished Regional Runner-Up, earning a trip to State for the 18th straight year!
These athletes have trained with heart, discipline, and determination all season long—and their hard work has paid off in a big way. ❤️

🎻✨ The Lovejoy Orchestra program celebrated a wonderful week of music with three concerts across the district — each one showcasing the incredible talent, growth, and heart of our student musicians! ❤️🐆
On Tuesday, September 30, the Sloan Creek Beginner Orchestra, under the direction of Viri Ashby, Brandie Phillips, and Sarah Moffatt, performed for proud families in a concert highlighting their journey — from unpacking their instruments for the first time to performing with both bow and fingers together. Their enthusiasm and progress in just eight short weeks were truly remarkable!
The celebration continued on Wednesday, October 1, as the four Willow Springs Middle School Orchestras, led by Ashley Dickens and Gabriel Ramon, took the stage. Each ensemble performed with excitement, confidence, and beautiful musicianship, proudly demonstrating their growth since the start of the school year.
The week concluded on Thursday, October 2, when the Lovejoy High School Orchestras, directed by Brandie Phillips and Sarah Moffatt, dazzled audiences with performances ranging from classical masterpieces to spooky seasonal selections — the perfect way to welcome October! 🎃🎶
Across all campuses, students performed with artistry, teamwork, and joy, reminding us that music truly connects our community. We are so proud of every musician for their dedication and passion!
