Transition Academy students enjoyed a meaningful learning experience this morning as they toured the Allen Public Library alongside their high school PALS. The visit provided students with an opportunity to explore a community resource and learn more about the community in which they live.

The Lovejoy Boys Varsity Soccer team opened the season with a perfect 3–0 weekend, earning victories over North Forney (2–1), Newman Smith (3–2), and Garland High (4–0). The Leopards will kick off district play on January 20 against Anna at Lovejoy High School.

⚽️ Season Opener Success for Lovejoy Girls Soccer!
The Varsity Girls Soccer Team opened the season with a perfect 3–0 start at the Andie Studley Memorial Showcase, earning wins over Rockwall (3–0), Rowlett (9–0), and Vandegrift (1–0). Goals came from Kinley Short, Ella York, Kenzie Lavender, Annsley Dercks, Lainey Pierce, Claire Beveridge, and Kylee Dziubinski. Goalkeepers Emma Jarboe and Mickey Wideman, along with a strong back line, secured three clean sheets.
The JV Girls Soccer Team matched that success with their own 3–0 start, defeating Allen (1–0), Sachse (1–0), and Rockwall (3–0). Lily De Luna, Ava Lowe, and Emily Armstrong found the net, while goalkeeper Rachel Walsh and the JV defense also earned three shutouts.
