Thirty dedicated members of Lovejoy Choir auditioned on Saturday, September 14th for Phase 1 of the TMEA All-State Choir, or the 'District' round. This year's entries broke a record with more than 830 students competing! We are pleased to announce that the following 9 students will represent Lovejoy at Phase 2 ('Region') and compete for a spot in the TMEA Region 25 choir (and a chance to advance in the All-State process). Sloan Creek Intermediate School's Visual Art Studio is rooted in exploring multifaceted processes through hands-on practice. Students have been practicing with watercolor, printmaking, drawing, and even a little sculpture in the first weeks of school!
