The Lovejoy Girls Cross Country team has officially "taken our title back!"
After a three-year winning streak and a runner-up finish in 2024, the Leopards had one mission — to get back on top of the podium. It was a total team effort, with every runner digging deep in the final 800 meters to overcome Smithson Valley, who led at the 2-mile mark.
In the end, the depth, determination, and heart of our Leopards made all the difference — bringing home the State Championship!

On October 28, the Lovejoy Orchestra hosted its first-ever Monster Mash Practice Bash — a fun-filled fundraiser for our 6th-grade beginning orchestra students!
The evening brought together our youngest SCIS musicians and our LHS Orchestra leaders for music, mentorship, games, and glow-in-the-dark fun. The night ended with the directors and LHS Orchestra President getting pied in the face by our top fundraisers — a hilarious finale to a celebration of teamwork and spirit!
Our high school students truly embodied what it means to be leaders in Lovejoy Orchestra — encouraging, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation. We are so proud of the community they continue to build through music, kindness, and joy. ❤️🎶

Lovejoy Cross Country is State Bound!
An incredible weekend for Lovejoy Cross Country as both our Lady Leopards and Leopard Boys punched their tickets to the UIL State Championship in Round Rock on Friday, October 31st!
For the 6th consecutive year, the Lady Leopards captured the Region II-5A Championship, while the Boys Team finished Regional Runner-Up, earning a trip to State for the 18th straight year!
These athletes have trained with heart, discipline, and determination all season long—and their hard work has paid off in a big way. ❤️
