Former Lovejoy ISD Principal Returns to Lead Willow Springs Middle School
Lovejoy ISD is excited to announce Kevin Parker, former Puster Elementary School Principal, is returning to LISD to serve as the Principal of Willow Springs Middle School. Mr. Parker has over nineteen years of experience in education, twelve of those years serving Lovejoy ISD.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Parker back home,” states Dr. Michael Goddard, Superintendent of Lovejoy ISD.” Mr. Parker embodies One Heart. One Lovejoy and exceeded the leadership attributes the community and staff identified as critical throughout our principal search”.
Mr. Parker joined Lovejoy ISD in 2008, serving as Assistant Principal at Puster, Sloan Creek, and Willow Springs before being named Principal of Puster Elementary in 2015. Mr. Parker left Puster in 2019 to extend his impact beyond LISD, serving as the Director of Educational Solutions for a school safety company.
“I could not be more grateful to come back home to Lovejoy. Even more exciting is the opportunity to serve the Willow Springs community as their principal. I have spent the majority of my career at the middle school level and cannot wait to continue the excellence that has been established at WSMS,” states Kevin Parker.
Mr. Parker will be replacing Dr. Messer, who was recently named Director of Human Resources, Recruitment, and Development and will be starting the week of April 20th.
