Lovejoy Volleyball Coach Pursuing New Opportunities


Lovejoy High School Head Volleyball Coach, Ryan Mitchell, announced to his staff and team today that he will be leaving to pursue new opportunities.


Coach Mitchell will be leaving Lovejoy ISD to work as the Director of Operations at Skyline Juniors Volleyball Club and will work part-time at Prestonwood Christian Academy as the Head Volleyball Coach.


Chris Ross, Lovejoy ISD Athletic Director, stated, “We are extremely thankful for Coach

Mitchell for his outstanding contributions to the Leopard Volleyball program. Coach Mitchell has established and grown Lovejoy Volleyball into an extremely competitive program, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors” 


“Coach Mitchell has been instrumental in our Leopard Volleyball program. We wish him continued success and have big shoes to fill. I am confident Leopard Volleyball will continue to be an incredible program with a very bright future, stated Lovejoy ISD Interim Superintendent Dr. Dennis Womack. 


Lovejoy ISD will establish the timeline for hiring the next Head Volleyball Coach in the upcoming

weeks.
