Lovejoy ISD Interview Process


Teaching Positions: 

 

In Lovejoy, we have a four-step hiring process for teachers.  This process is designed to allow teacher applicants the chance “to get to know” Lovejoy and the instructional philosophies and beliefs of the district. 


Step 1: Candidates visit the Lovejoy ISD website to apply for an open position(s). 


Step 2: Selected candidates will be invited to complete an online video interview.  


Step 3: Selected candidates will be invited to participate in a “round-robin” interview.  During this interview, candidates will rotate through three different LISD administrators for 15 minutes each.  During each interview rotation, candidates will read a short scenario and then answer questions that follow.


Step 4: Selected candidates will participate in a final callback interview.  


Once all four steps are completed, candidate references will be checked. 

 

 

Support Positions: 

 

In Lovejoy ISD, we have a three-step process for hiring all of our support positions. 

 

Step 1: Candidates visit the Lovejoy ISD website to apply for an open position(s). 

 

Step 2: Selected candidates will participate in an interview with the position supervisor or supervisors.  

 

Step 3: Once steps one and two are completed, candidate references will be checked.
